TUTORIAL || Two-Face/Joker [DC Comics] Inspired Look

At long LAST this is posted. Yes, on a Saturday despite the fact it is for Fandom Friday. You can thank my lovely laptop for that. It nearly became a very heavy frisbee numerous times because it was just not cooperating and my patience was wearing extremely thin. Nevertheless, the tutorial is finally here. This week is a makeup look inspired by the villain Two-Face from Batman. Yet, whilst I was doing it, I got carried away and kind of merged the Joker in there. This is why I should print of face charts. Winging it is sometimes not the best idea. However, I do love how this turned out.

Within this tutorial I used the brushes from Look Good Feel Better featured in my last post - HERE. I used the Blush Brush for blusher which I absolutely adore and I used the Angled Blending Brush, specifically on the 'Bad' Side of my face. I'm here with my thoughts on the blending brush.

First of all, I really liked it. It felt incredibly soft against my skin and blended the shadows beautifully which is what I wanted. I used it to blend a blue eyeshadow into my socket line and also used it to blend under my lashline. The size of it really allowed for blending a large area which was great for such a messy look. I'm not sure how it would be for more precise work like a MAC 217 does. It would be better suited for blending crease and lid colours together so that there are no harsh edges which I really like. Yet, you can narrow it yourself. But, I'll play around with it.

When I used it on my lower lashline, watching it back, I really like how it blended everything. It would really help in an extremely smokey look if you wanted to bring shadows further down under the eye. All in all, a fabulous brush that I cannot wait to fully get to grips with.

With the 'Good' side, I feel like I'm channeling my inner Zoella with the deep parting of my hair. My part is just slightly off-centre on my right. I had a heavy part once about eight years ago when I had my hair cut like Kathryn Morris.

I'm really excited to be getting back into more extreme looks after a couple of weeks focused on more beauty-oriented looks. Over the next couple of weeks will be a mis-mash of more theatrical looks and beauty makeup looks inspired by characters from Arrow. I've been in LOVE with that show for the past couple of weeks. I've been watching it practically every free moment that I have and I'm all caught up. Season 4 cannot arrive soon enough. I hope to see you next week for week 1 of 3 [for now] for Arrow - if my laptop is nice. Positive thoughts. Positive thoughts.

Have a wonderful weekend and I will see you in my next post..
