TUTORIAL || Storm [X-Men] Inspired Makeup Look - REDONE

Friday, 28 October 2016

Anyone remember the makeup tutorial that I did for Storm from X-Men as my 100th blog post? If not, you can check it out here

I was sitting on Tuesday wondering what I wanted to film. I had plenty of ideas but none were grabbing my attention. Besides, a number of them actually require a second person and some accessories. I found my notebook with some blank face charts for me to doodle on and I had written a list of looks that I wanted to do and a second go at Storm was one of them.

So here it is with all new products and a slightly different look. Plus, I'm a little bit obsessed with the very start of the intro. Just a little. She says...

MY THOUGHTS || Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children [FILM]

Saturday, 8 October 2016

After seeing Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children last Friday, I thought that I would sit down and share with you my thoughts on the movie. I have read the books, all three, by Ransom Riggs and loved every word from cover to cover. With the movie imminent, I started counting down the days until I would see my new favourite brought to life.

I'm not going to lie, I had a lot of thoughts regarding this movie. I spoke for well over an hour and managed to whittle it down to 33 minutes. Yes, it's lengthy but as I said, I loved the books very much and I naturally would have watched it under a microscope. I had also just finished reading the first book for the second time just before seeing the film and so it was fresh in my mind.

Have you seen the movie? What did you think of it? I would love to hear your thoughts about it and how you felt it transitioned from book to film.

HALLOWE'EN || Black & White Jester

Next up in my Hallowe'en tutorials, is this black & white jester makeup look that was inspired by that headband hat that sits upon my head. I had thought that it would be a Mad Hatter type of look but it wasn't very Mad Hatter. It just so happened that the hat was Mad Hatter like. Ergo, Jester was hereby dubbed.

I found the headband in my local Asda. It doesn't appear to be available online sadly.
